The name Siem Reap means the 'Flat Defeat of Siam' (today's Thailand) and refers to the centuries-old conflict between the Siamese and Khmer peoples.
Drive to the famous temples of Angkor (Stand in awe before the legendary temple of Angkor Wat, admire the sculpted façade of Bayon temple, and discover the atmospheric jungle temple of Ta Prohm ) and to wander the ancient ruins, or cruise through the rice fields to experience life in one of the local villages.
Stop at a restaurant to grab some traditional Cambodian food for lunch, or take a boat tour on Tonle Sap Lake to see the houses on stilts. You can also visit the Landmine Museum, or watch a traditional silk weaver, trust me to make recommendations of other places to visit as per your personal VIBE on my TUK TUK.

Sokly - Trusty Tuk Tuk
HI!! My name is Sokly and I was born here in the province of Siem Reap, Cambodia. I have been driving tuk-tuks in Siem Reap since 2006, and provide my tuk-tuk service for tourists when they come to see the many historical wonders of our city. I grew up in a rural area in the Siem Reap province and was lucky enough to attend a High School in Siem Reap town in 2005. During my last year of Primary School, I started learning English for one hour a day in the evening.I kept learning for three years until I learned basic English, as it's an important language for us to know in Cambodia. I am speaking English well
