Dudhsagar Falls is a four-tiered waterfall located on the Mandovi River in the Indian state of Goa. Dudhsagar Falls is amongst India's tallest waterfalls with a height of 310 m (1017 feet) and an average width of 30 metres (100 feet). The falls is located in the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park among the Western Ghats. The waterfall is located near Karnataka & Goa Border. The falls is a punctuation mark in the journey of the Mandovi River from the Western Ghats to Panjim where it meets the Arabian sea. The area is surrounded by deciduous forests with rich biodiversity. The falls are not particularly spectacular during the dry season but during the monsoon season, however, the falls are fed by rains and form a huge force of water.

How to Reach?

Reach the Yeshwanthpur station in Bangalore by 2.30 pm to board the train. Pick up will be provided once you reach Kulem, Goa.

How To Prepare?

A valid ID Proof for any sort of emergency.
Personal Medication
A blanket of your own to keep yourself cozy and comfortable.
Quick snacks if you need a quick bite before the trek or any time during the day.
Appropriate clothes to trek, full pants and fully covered T-shirts are recommended to avoid any insect bites.
Trekking shoes are a must
Carry a water bottle to keep yourself hydrated.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Dudhsagar Waterfall Trek

*Friday & Saturday Afternoon *

02.30 pm – Yashwantpur Station

Saturday Day 1

02.30 am – Will Reach Kulem, Goa.

02.45 am to 06.00 am- Get some good rest & Relax in our Resort.

06.30 am – We start trek from Kulem station to Dudhsagar Water Falls below bridge point. Trekking on Railway track & jungle trek. Total 22 km trek up & down.

08.00 am – will reach to our base camp. Have breakfast & tea.

08.45 am - will start trek to reach below bridge point. Jungle trek, passing through water streams, river crossing, wooden bridge etc.

09.30 am - will reach below bridge point. 1 hour break.

You will get 1hour over here. U can take pics n make videos.

10.30 am – Will start 1 km trek to reach above bridge & 4 tier water falls view passing thru tunnels.

Kannada movie Maina & other movies shooting done here.

12.30 pm Will reach our base camp. Here will serve you freshly made lunch. .

Self service.

02.30 pm – Now, will trek back to kulem.

05.00 pm – Reached Kulem & check in to Resort.

06.00 pm to 11.00 pm stay in Resort with Campfire, Swimming pool, Music etc.

Dinner at 9 to 10 pm. Buffet

11.30 pm will move to Kulem Station to Pick the Bangalore train.
